Social Media & Vlog Intern in Groningen

We are looking for a Social Media & Vlog Intern that will support Blockchaingers to the Next Level: a global brand and entrepreneurial ecosystem, recognized as the most complete ecosystem in the world to successfully build and launch blockchain solutions.

Blockchaingers in brief

Blockchaingers is the biggest open blockchain innovation program in Europe, impacting both the smallest startup idea and the largest EU policies with over 15 events each year. Together with corporates, (semi-) government, regulators, startups, scale-ups, students, SME’s, and universities we develop and engage in a full year program to get from pilot to prototype and from prototype to implemented solution. We aim to co-create the next operating system for our society.

Responsibilities

You are supporting our Branding & PR manager in building and growing the Blockchaingers online community, specifically our developer and millennial base.

You support in

• The online design and implementation of the Blockchaingers branding in all Blockchaingers and partner platforms and outlets

• Set-up innovative campaigns with our partners and develop initiatives to grow our ecosystem

• Develop and implement the media-strategy for (inter)national media, ensuring regular coverage and coordinating our CEO’s media appearances

You are directly responsible for

• Overseeing the Blockchaingers Social Media messaging and develop and deliver consistently, integrated messaging across all platforms of organic Social Media

• Live tweeting and blogging interaction during our events

• Creating and executing Instagram and Snapchat strategies

• Creating and executing a Blockchaingers vlog series, aimed at millennials

• Develop personal contacts with blockchain influencers/vloggers

Desired qualifications and experience

• Relevant study in the field of communications, media or tech

• Demonstrable affinity with online/internet technology

• Demonstrable affinity with the development of a vlog

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

• Perfectionism and high standards in your work

• A working proficiency in Dutch and English

• Having a startup mentality: being able to get into hustling mode when necessary
